Gravfall is a vertical arcade game where you plummet through eight distinct worlds - from open skies to alien cities to volcanic depths. Gravity never relents. Your job is to survive.
Dodge waves of obstacles, collect coins for points, grab power-ups when you can, and face a boss at the end of key levels. The further you fall, the harder the challenge becomes.
Survive to the end of each 60-second level and defeat the boss. Collect as many coins as possible along the way.
You start with 100 HP. Each obstacle hit costs 10 HP. Reach 0 and it's game over.
Eight sequential levels in Normal mode. Survival mode runs indefinitely with escalating speed.

Play through all eight levels in sequence. Each level runs for 60 seconds. Complete the timer and you advance - but some levels end with a boss fight you must defeat before moving on. Your health carries over between levels, so every hit counts.
Choose your difficulty before starting:
| Difficulty | Scroll Speed | Obstacle Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | Slower | Less frequent, smaller waves |
| Medium | Balanced | Standard frequency |
| Hard | Faster | Frequent waves with more obstacles |
There's no finish line - just fall as far as you can. Speed ramps up continuously through five phases over roughly two minutes, starting easy and becoming increasingly punishing. Your score keeps climbing until you die.
Eight hand-crafted worlds, each with unique obstacles and atmosphere. In Normal mode they play in order from 1 to 8.
Birds, propeller planes, army aircraft, helicopters, hot-air balloons, and storm clouds fill the open air. The easiest introduction to the game's mechanics.
Stalactites, crystal formations, and swooping bats crowd the underground passages. Darkness and tight corridors raise the pressure.
⚔ Boss: Giant SpiderSharks, eels, and whales patrol the deep. Your character becomes a deep-sea diver for this level. Watch out for creatures that cross the full width of the screen.
⚔ Boss: Kraken SquidAsteroids, alien ships, and drifting planets scatter across the void. Obstacle movement becomes less predictable in zero gravity.
Flying taxis, alien buses, delivery drones, and strange creatures (alien dogs and cats) navigate the neon-lit streets of an extraterrestrial metropolis.
Lava blobs and fire bats erupt from the depths. The screen glows orange and hazards move erratically with the heat.
⚔ Boss: Green DragonSheep, dark wispy nightmares, and flying clocks drift through a surreal subconscious realm. Nothing behaves quite like you'd expect.
⚔ Boss: Nightmare DemonSnakes, cobras, beetles, dragonflies, and lotus flowers inhabit this serene-yet-deadly final world. The most obstacle variety in the game.
⚔ Boss: Cobra GodFive levels end with a boss encounter. Defeat the boss to advance. Bosses have multiple attack phases - they become more aggressive as their health drops.
Fires projectiles and spawns smaller spiders to swarm the arena. Prioritize clearing the smaller ones before they pin you in a corner.
Fires projectiles, releases ink clouds that reduce visibility, and slams tentacles across the screen. Enters a berserk phase at low HP - expect faster, unpredictable attacks.
Breathes fire, dives across the screen, and calls in fire bat reinforcements. The fire breath sweeps horizontally - move vertically to dodge.
Unleashes lightning strikes and summons zombie minions. The lightning targets your current position - keep moving.
The final boss. Fires projectiles, drops snakes, creates spreading venom pools on the ground, and conjures hypnotic rings to disorient movement. Learn its patterns - each attack has a tell.
Power-ups appear randomly during a level. Collect them by flying through them. Most effects last ~3 seconds.
Doubles scroll speed - obstacles come at you faster. High risk, but more coins pass through at once. Only grab it if you're confident.
Halves scroll speed. Gives you time to breathe and collect coins safely. Always worth grabbing.
Restores +10 HP immediately. Critical if you're running low. Prioritize collecting these when your health is below 50.
Freezes all obstacles in place for roughly 2 seconds. Use the free time to collect coins and reposition.

You earn 8 points per second simply by surviving. Stay alive as long as possible.
Coins multiply based on where they spawn on screen - coins that appear high up on screen are worth more.
